The McAlister Institute is a non-profit agency that offers drug addiction treatment in both an inpatient and outpatient capacity. The El Cajon facility is a four hundred and sixty unit facility that offers both outpatient and inpatient treatment for those suffering from a substance abuse or dependence. The residential treatment centers offer one on one counseling, medication management and education programs geared towards helping individuals recover from addictions. The Ramblewood Care Center offers inpatient substance abuse treatment in addition to addiction recovery programs that focus on the psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of living an alcohol and drug free life. In addition to the above mentioned programs the center provides therapeutic community group meetings, spiritual support as well as educational programs for their clients.
