The Casa de Hermandad is a facility for out-patient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. It is located in the foothills of the majestic Pacific Ocean just south of Los Angeles. The center is a one hundred and sixty bed facility for those suffering from a drug or alcohol addiction problem. The facility also serves another five hundred clients who are just passing through the area. The outpatient services are provided by a staff of doctors, therapists, social workers and instructors.
There are a total of eight different treatment options that the center offers to those in need. They include detoxification, medication management, marriage and family therapy, alternative therapies and support groups. The main goal of the center is to offer fast, safe and effective drug addiction treatment. The aim is to make the transition to the outside world as easy and comfortable as possible for the patient while preparing them to go back to their daily lives.
The primary focus of the drug addiction treatment at Casa de Hermandad is to educate, relax and provide the patient with the tools they will need to commit to their recovery. Many of the inpatient recovery programs also offer support groups to those who are attending treatment. The center offers an outreach program for other agencies and organizations in the Los Angeles area who are working towards a unified response to drug addiction and alcoholism.
