The Reach Project is an outreach initiative of the Southern California Association of Alcoholism, Drug Addiction and Abuse, which was founded in 1988. The organization conducts its drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs in two locations, in Los Angeles and in Antioch, California. Although the organization has branches in several other cities in the United States, Reach Project concentrates on providing quality substance abuse treatment in the city of Antioch. Reach Counseling and Drug Rehabilitation Services offer drug rehab in an environment that is safe, clean and comfortable.
There are various treatment options available for those who have drug or alcohol addictions. Drug Rehabs provide detoxification, residential substance abuse treatment, outpatient substance abuse treatment and community-based substance abuse treatment. The main substance abuse treatment offered by Reach is in an inpatient setting. The inpatient drug rehab program is provided in the patient setting and provides a personalized, individualized drug rehabilitation experience. Substance abuse treatment is provided by a highly skilled and compassionate team of professionals including physicians, nurses and therapists. The primary goal of Reach is to provide an addiction treatment plan that will help the patients live a life free from drug and alcohol dependency.
The drug rehabilitation process involves detoxifying the patient from drugs or alcohol. It also involves providing education about drug and alcohol abuse, preventing drug and alcohol dependencies, relapse prevention, life skills development and relapse management. The drug addiction treatment procedure includes detoxification, stabilization, support and maintenance programs, home health care and palliative care. Reach provides an extensive array of drug addiction treatment and related services that can help the patients and their families recover from drug and alcohol dependency.
