The Orange County Healthcare Agency (OCHA), provides a great program for alcohol and drug abuse treatment. The Agency’s Division on Drug Rehabilitation trains, educates and provides specialized services to the general public in the community. In order to become a member of the OCDA you must fulfill a minimum of one year of supervised community service after being licensed as an alcohol or drug addict. If you are interested in attending any of the alcohol and drug addiction treatment programs offered by the Agency, please contact them at the number above.
This program is designed to help you get clean and sober, and regain your self-esteem and confidence. There are certain requirements that must be met by both the patient and the attending therapist or psychologist in order to ensure that he or she qualifies for admission into the program. You will also have to attend a couple of hours of counseling and have periodic interviews with the counselors to determine whether you are a good candidate for the program or not. The goal of the program is to help you change your life and make it healthy and productive again.
The Orange County Healthcare Agency offers several other related substance abuse and alcohol rehabilitation services. They offer residential drug rehab facilities that provide all of the amenities of the more popular drug and alcohol treatment centers, while allowing you to live at home. Residential treatment for addicts is becoming more popular with the advent of our current society of dependence. Many people who suffer from drug and alcohol addictions find it hard to achieve recovery when they are always at home. The Orange County Healthcare Agency offers a residential drug rehab facility for those who can not achieve at-home treatment. Treatment does not have to mean a long stay in the drug rehab facility, however, if you are a good candidate you will be admitted into one of their residential facilities and treated there.
