Community Mental Health Associates Inc. is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for transitional youth between the ages of thirteen and twenty-four. This program works to empower these young adults to make healthy choices and live productive lives. Substance abuse and addiction are a major and growing problem across our nation. The goal of the Community Mental Health Affiliates Inc. is to assist in finding the best substance abuse treatment programs for our community and to empower our youth in the process. The primary goal of the CMA is to partner with local, state and federal governments to promote prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery for all those involved with substance abuse. The mission of CMA is to provide a comprehensive range of direct services, including educational, behavioral health, medical, social services and family support programs to strengthen the communities in which they serve.
The CMA offers two different programs: One is a general substance abuse program and the second is a transitional program for those who are still dealing with addiction and their families. The primary function of the Community Mental Health Affiliates Inc. program is to educate individuals and families about the harmful effects of substance abuse and addiction. They educate them on self-help programs for controlling substance abuse and offering advice on how to maintain a drug-free life. The CMA also offers referral services to those who have a substance abuse problem and are in need of additional help. The Substance Abuse Treatment Option includes detoxification, medication management, group therapy, and other related services.
The Transitional Youth Drug Rehabilitation program assists teens and young adults with leaving the drug scene and starting a new life in a drug-free environment. This program is for teens and young adults who have recently broken up a drug habit and are not ready or unable to join their family in treatment. The Youth Drug Rehabilitation program provides wraparound care with qualified staff, private therapy and case management. The cost for this program is approximately $925 per week.
